Jenny Zimmermann is a Ph.D. candidate and research associate at the Institute for Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen (ICI-HSG). She joined the team of Prof. Dr. Andreas Herrmann in September 2017. Prior to her work at the University of St. Gallen, Jenny Zimmermann completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the Heidelberg University and a Master’s degree in Physics and Management at the University of Ulm.
During her studies she worked as an intern and student assistant at various institutes (e.g. in the fields of behavioral economics and big data analytics). Her research focuses on human-machine interaction and perception as well as on the perceived collaboration with smart / autonomous products. In her projects she works, for example, with Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke AG and Vorwerk Schweiz AG.
